Three sizes of La Palina Mr. Sam are now shipping to retailers. Andrew Brennan, director of sales for La Palina, told halfwheel retailers who purchased the cigars at the Tobacconists’ Association of America meeting and convention last month should see their orders arrive this week, as they have begun shipping today.

Mr. Sam was originally offered in a 4 3/4 x 54 robusto sold in 10-count boxes, the company added a 6 x 50 toro and 5 1/2 x 42 corona to the portfolio and then made the line a regular offering with 20-count boxes.

The new sizes first appeared earlier this month at Serious Cigars’ Texas Cigar Festival in the form of a six-cigar sampler. It is expected to begin shipping to non-TAA accounts next month.

Mr. Sam is made at El Titan de Bronze in Miami.
