Earlier this week, the Milford, Mass. Board of Health approved a proposal that will increase the minimum age to purchase tobacco products from 18 to 21, a change that will go into effect on April 1.

With the change, Milford becomes the 93rd municipality in Massachusetts to make the change

Milford is located approximately 28 miles southwest of Boston and is home to approximately 28,000 residents.
