There’s a new vitola for Crowned Heads’ Mil Días line, one that is only sold at JR Cigar.

It’s called Mil Días MDP55, a name that references the cigar’s dimensions: 5 1/2 x 55. Unlike the rest of the line, this vitola is box-pressed. Blend-wise, it uses an Ecuadorian habano wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and fillers from Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Peru.

Currently, JR Cigar lists a box of 12 for $135.99, approximately $11.33 per cigar. While exclusive, Crowned Heads says this is a regular production item that JR Cigar can continue to reorder.

Mil Días is produced at TacaNicsa, the factory led by Eradio Pichardo. It is located in the same building as Tabacalera Pichardo, the factory that made Mil Días when the line debuted.
