A Maryland legislator said that he will introduce new legislation that will seek to ban the sale of flavored tobacco products in the state.

Del. Dereck Davis, D-25, said that he is working on legislation that would ban the sale of flavored tobacco products. Davis chairs the Economic Matters Committee.

While some large cities have banned the sale of flavored tobacco products, no state has banned the sale of flavored tobacco products.
