In the midst of a flurry of news, D’Crossier has at least one more announcement.

There will be a limited production lancero that will make its debut at the 2015 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show in July. Isaias Santana Diaz told halfwheel that he will have a 7 1/2 x 38 lancero with an Ecuadorian habano 2000 wrapper, undisclosed binder and Nicaraguan filler at this year’s trade show.

The cigars have already been aging for 13 months after being produced by a single roller at the company’s Pure Aroma Cigars S.A. in Costa Rica.

Diaz told halfwheel pricing is still not finalized. Also not finalized is whether the cigars will use cellophane. If they do, it’s they will feature cellophane with cut feet, a feature that he is using on the upcoming Flor de D’Crossier Selection 512.

Production will be limited to 1,000 boxes of 20 cigars annually.

The company recently announced a new deal that will see Espinosa Premium Cigars handling its distribution.

Davidoff is the official sponsor of halfwheel's coverage of the 2015 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show.
