Leaf by Omar Heads to Stores
There’s yet another entry into the Leaf by Series, this time coming from Omar González Alemán’s La Corona Factory.
The aptly called Leaf by Omar is a 6 x 52 toro that uses an Ecuadorian habano wrapper, a Pennsylvania binder and Nicaraguan fillers. Suggested retail pricing is $9.95 per cigar.
The Leaf by Series has included a variety of cigar makers. It’s most famous for the Leaf by Oscar, made by Oscar Valladares, but it’s also included Leaf by Esteban (Disla) of NicaSueño and most recently Leaf by James (Brown) of Black Label Trading Co.
Now it’s González Alemán’s turn.
He’s mostly known as the owner of the La Corona Factory in Estelí, which makes the H.R. line of cigars for Hirochi Robaina. Before that, González Alemán spent decades in Cuba, including running both the Partagás and La Corona factories.
