Along with roughly a dozen cigars going on “hiatus,” Tatuaje has announced three new vitolas for its L’Atelier Selection Spéciale line.

Later this fall, the company will add the three original LAT sizes to the Selection Spéciale brand:

  • L’Atelier LAT52 Selection Spéciale (4 3/4 x 52)
  • L’Atelier LAT54 Selection Spéciale (5 5/8 x 54)
  • L’Atelier LAT56 Selection Spéciale (6 1/2 x 56)

Selection Spéciale uses a higher priming of the Ecuadorian Sancti Spiritus wrapper found on the regular line. Underneath that is a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers.

Two Selection Spéciale—38 Speciale and LAT Torpedo—were amongst the cigars Tatuaje announced it was no longer producing and placing “on hiatus.”

Update (Oct. 6) — Pete Johnson told halfwheel that the three new sizes are slated to be released in November.
