La Palina, Down and Back Create Alliance Territory

Meet your new Caldwell, La Barba and Room101 sales representative: the La Palina rep.

That is what is happening for at least one La Palina sales representative. Jerry Cutrone, who represents the company for Texas and the southwest, will now serve as the representative for both La Palina and Down and Back, LLC, the distribution company for Caldwell Cigar Co., La Barba and Room101.

Cutrone will represent both companies’ portfolios in Texas, Arkansas, New Mexico and Oklahoma. He will also be the La Palina representative for Arizona and Lousiana; Down and Back has brokers for those two states.

While Cutrone is the only sales representative to gain the Down and Back portfolio so far, there might be more coming.

“We are looking at expanding the alliance pending needs of respective territories,” said Clay Roberts, coo of La Palina, in a text to halfwheel.

While it’s not uncommon for independent sales brokers to represent multiple companies, this partnership is fairly unique as La Palina and the respective Down and Back companies have no existing relationship and are otherwise separate entities outside of this one territory.
