At last month’s 2024 PCA Convention & Trade Show, La Hoja del Chan added a new 20-count box packaging option.

The 20-count box is only available for the 5 x 50 robusto size, though there are for four different blends that can now be purchased in the 20-count box:

  • EL Chan Galiz Maduro, which uses an Ecuadorian habano maduro wrapper and has a sweetened tip
  • El Chan Habano, which uses an Ecuadorian wrapper
  • EL Chan Maduro, which uses an Ecuadorian habano maduro wrapper
  • El Chan Rubio, which uses a Connecticut-seed wrapper from Nicaragua

In an interesting twist, retailers can also order a 20-count box that has five of each of the four different blends.

The Habano and Rubio cigars have an MSRP of $11.25, while the Galiz Maduro and Maduro are priced at $11.50 per cigar. The sampler box has an MSRP of $230. The boxes began shipping to stores last month.

La Hoja del Chan makes its cigars in Puerto Rico.
