La Flor Dominicana Introduces Mystery 2014
La Flor Dominicana’s event-only cigar has gotten a yearly update. The company has begun to offer the 2014 Unreleased Event Only Mystery Cigar, a follow-up to last year’s version by an identical name.
Like last year’s version, it will be made only for events and once again the company is declining to disclose its blend. This year’s version is a 6 x 52 toro, as opposed to last year’s 6 1/2 x 44 lonsdale. It is available at the company’s “signature events” where it is offered as a promotional item, as well as for sale. Pricing for this year’s version is $8 per cigar or $160 for a box of 20.
Jon Carney, vp of sales for La Flor Dominicana, told halfwheel that as of now there are no plans to release last year’s cigars for regular sale, something the company previously indicated it was considering.
