La Aurora Puro Vintage Sampler In the Works

Some “leaked” photos from Hector Paz of Miami Cigar & Co. seems to indicate that a new La Aurora Puro Vintage Sampler is in the works, though specific details remain vague at this point.

Paz, Director of Sales for Miami Cigar & Co., posted the pictures to his Facebook page on Tuesday afternoon, which were subsequently posted on Miami Cigar & Co.’s blog. He and Jason Wood, Vice President of Miami Cigar & Co., are currently in the Dominican Republic visiting La Aurora’s factory, which is where the photos were taken.

The three-pack sampler includes one of each of the 2003, 2004 and 2005 editions of La Aurora’s Puro Vintage releases. It’s worth noting that the vintages do not correspond to the years the cigars were released; the 2003 vintage hit the market in 2008, while the 2004 vintage debuted at the 2011 IPCPR Convention and Trade Show and the 2005 vintage was announced in July 2013.

Barry Stein of Miami Cigar & Co. didn’t have any additional details on the release, though expects that more information will be made available about the sampler in the coming days.
