Karen Berger Cigars has added two new vitolas to its core lines, but not every line is getting both sizes.

The company is adding a box-pressed 6 x 60 Grande vitola to the K by Karen Berger Habano and Maduro lines, while a 6 x 52 pyramid is now available as part of the company’s K by Karen Berger Cameroon, Connecticut, Habano and Maduro lines.

Both new vitolas are packaged in 20-count boxes, regardless of blend. In terms of pricing, the Cameroon pyramid has an MSRP of $12.50, while the MSRP of the same vitola for the Connecticut, Habano, and Maduro lines is $11.50. Both versions of the box-pressed Grande each have an MSRP of $12.

All of the new additions to the company’s K by Karen Berger lines are being made at Estelí Cigars S.A. in Nicaragua.

In a text conversation, Bruce Busch, vice president of Karen Berger Cigars, told halfwheel that all six new cigars started shipping to retailers last week.

I have been smoking cigars for over eight years. A documentary wedding photographer by trade, I spent seven years as a photojournalist for the Dallas Morning News and the Fort Worth Star Telegram. I started the cigar blog SmokingStogie in 2008 after realizing that there was a need for a cigar blog with better photographs and more in-depth information about each release. SmokingStogie quickly became one of the more influential cigar blogs on the internet, known for reviewing preproduction, prerelease, rare, extremely hard-to-find and expensive cigars. I am a co-founder of halfwheel and now serve as an editor for halfwheel.
