Jaime Florez-Estrada, who served as Drew Estate’s vp of marketing, is no longer with the company.

“He’s a consummate, stand up professional,” said Glenn Wolfson, Drew Estate’s ceo, to halfwheel. “This is just part of our rebirth at Drew Estate, where we are really getting back to our cigar enthusiast roots particularly as it relates to all matters of our brand and go to market.”

Florez-Estrada joined the company in February 2015 after over a decade at the tobacco giant Altria.

Drew Estate is expected to name a new senior vice-president of sales tomorrow. Earlier today it announced that Jonathan Drew had signed a multi-year extension to stay on as the company’s president. The timing of the announcements is due to Drew Estate’s sales meeting, which is currently underway.

Swisher International is the parent of Drew Estate.
