IPCPR 2016: Miami Cigar & Co.

A new year, another new brand for the Miami Cigar & Co. family. This time, it’s Nicholas Melillo and his new flavored brand, The Upsetters. Beyond that, La Aurora has a host of new products and there’s a new Nestor Miranda Collection.

The booth was much the same, but it seems like it was a bit larger, likely a result of the new booth rules imposed by the IPCPR that seem to have made a few booths slightly larger than they previously were.

La Aurora 107 Cosecha 2006

A new limited edition of the popular La Aurora 107 line uses tobaccos only from 2006. It’s limited to 1,000 boxes of 10 for each size.

La Aurora Preferidos 1903 Edition Double Barrel Aged

The newest Preferido not only has tobacco aged in rum barrels, but the finished the cigars themselves are also aged in rum barrels.

The Upsetters

It’s an infused/flavored line by Nicholas Melillo. I smoked one and it was very sweet, though I’m not sure how much sweeter than the rest of the competition as I don’t smoke many flavored cigars. It’s offered in three different wrapper varieties across eight sizes. The Upsetters is distributed by Miami Cigar & Co.
