IPCPR 2016: Felipe Gregorio

At this year’s IPCPR Convention & Trade Show, Felipe Gregorio was showing off a relaunch of its Selection Oriana line, a brand that was last seen in 1998.

There are two different blends being released — one with a maduro wrapper, and one with a natural wrapper — and aach of the five vitolas’ names that are being released draw inspiration from various aspects and lore that the metal gold has been involved with.

Debuting in five different vitolas, the Oriana Selection Maduro is composed of a a Cosa Rican habana criollo maduro wrapper covering a Dominican olor Doble F San Victor binder and two fillers: Dominican criollo 98 and habano ligero 92 from Estelí, Nicaragua.

The Selection Oriana Natural is being offered in the same five different vitolas as the Oriana Maduro, but replaces the Cosa Rican habana criollo maduro wrapper from that version with an Ecuadorian Connecticut leaf while keeping the same Dominican olor Doble F San Victor binder along with Dominican criollo 98 and habano ligero 92 from Estelí, Nicaragua in the filler.
