It was a relatively simple show from Ashton Distributors, Inc. That being said, Robert Levin, the head of the company, didn’t seem to mind the somewhat lack of new products from the company, particularly as it seemed to shine nearly all the light where the company wanted it: on its new San Cristobal.

San Cristobal Ovation
Characterizing the San Cristobal Ovation as just another San Cristobal is not fair. It’s a $15 limited edition version, in a similar vein as the Noblesse. This version uses a Mexican San Andrés oscuro wrapper and Nicaraguan fillers. Like the rest of the San Cristobal brand, it’s rolled at My Father Cigars S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua.

Levin told halfwheel that he doesn’t expect the cigars to begin shipping until October because they are being aged for an additional three months.
