The new Illusione Singularé has begun shipping to stores.

It’s called Singularé ‘Origen’, a four-size line that uses a new blend, albeit one inspired by previous Singularé releases. Furthermore, unlike the original Singularé series, which was designed to be an annual limited edition that changed blend each year, ‘Origen’ is a regular production line. Dion Giolito, Illusione’s founder, said that he took what he believed to be the best parts of past Singularé blends to create ‘Origen’.

The results are a blend made entirely of Nicaraguan tobacco, rolled at Agricola Ganadera Norteña S.A., the Nicaraguan factory that produced all but the inaugural Singularé release.

  • Illusione Singularé ‘Origen’ Robusto (5 x 52) — $13 (Box of 15, $195)
  • Illusione Singularé ‘Origen’ Gordo (6 x 56) — $13.75 (Box of 15, $206.25)
  • Illusione Singularé ‘Origen’ Corona Gorda (5 5/8 x 46) — $13.35 (Box of 15)
  • Illusione Singularé ‘Origen’ Churchill (6 3/4 x 48) — $13.95 (Box of 15, $209.25)

Last year, Illusione announced that it would overhaul the packaging of most of the company’s lines. This is the first of the existing lines to get the full packaging makeover. The centerpiece of the new design is the Owl of Ramses II, who considered the owl his favorite bird until it slapped him in the face with its wing.
