For the first time in its 10 year history, Illusione’s Singularé line will be offered in a non-parejo shape.

The Illusione Singularé 2019 is a 6 3/4 x 52 diadema made entirely of Nicaraguan tobaccos. As has been the case with the other eight Singularé releases, it will be sold in 15-count boxes, this year’s version priced at $15 per cigar.

Dion Giolito, Illusione’s founder, told halfwheel that there will be 500-700 boxes made, a number that will ultimately depend on the tobaccos.

Singularé is Illusione’s annual limited edition. While the blends have varied over the years, it has been a Nicaraguan puro with the exception of one year.

As has been the case in all but the first release, the Illusione Singularé 2019 will be produced at Tabacos Valle de Jalapa S.A. (TABSA) in Estelí, Nicaragua.

Singularé 2019 will be shown off later this month at the 2019 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show and is expected to ship in September.

Davidoff is the official sponsor of halfwheel's coverage of the 2019 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show.
