Fratello has a new sampler that includes two new blends.

The Fratello Space Fresh Pack is a four cigar sampler made up of 6 x 50 toros. It will include:

  • Fratello Arlequín
  • Fratello Sorella
  • Fratello Bianco II
  • Fratello Classico Toro

Arlequín uses a Mexican wrapper over an Ecuadorian binder and Nicaraguan and Peruvian fillers. Sorella’s blend is an Ecuadorian habano wrapper over an Indonesian binder and Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers.

Both of the new blends are being made at Joya de Nicaragua in Estelí.

“I’m incredibly excited to release this four pack as it attacks a new segment of the market for Fratello,” said Omar de Frias, founder of Fratello, in a press release. “These new blends will serve as market research for our company as we look into expanding our product offering in the future.”

de Frias also indicated that, for now, the Classico Toro, a new size for the line, is only offered in the Space Fresh Pack.

As for the names, Arlequín—also known as Harlequin—was a comedic servant for the Italian theatre Commedia dell’arte. Sorella is the Italian word for sister; Fratello is the Italian word for brother.

Pricing will be $25 and Fratello expects to begin shipping the sampler immediately after the 2019 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show, which begins June 29 in Las Vegas.
