The newest Fosforo blend will be one that comes from a different factory than the rest of the brand’s cigars to date.

At this week’s 2023 PCA Convention & Trade Show, Fosforo will release the Fosforo Limitada, a 5 1/2 x 54 robusto extra. Blend-wise, it uses a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and fillers from Nicaragua. Unlike the rest of the cigars in the Fosforo portfolio, which have been made by Garmendia Cigars Co., this release was rolled at Tabacalera Segovias de Estelí.

Perhaps most notably, the company says these cigars were rolled more than 18 months ago.

The MSRP is set at $9.95 per cigar and production is limited to 750 bundles of 20 cigars.

Fosforo says the cigars should begin shipping this month. Fosforo is distributed by Pospiech, Inc.
