It’s called Strong Leaf, and, as the name implies, it’s supposed to be a strong cigar.

At next month’s 2023 PCA Convention & Trade Show, Ferrera Cigars will debut Strong Leaf, its newest blend. Strong Leaf will be offered in a single 5 x 42 corona size. The blend uses a Nicaraguan maduro wrapper over a binder from Olancho, Honduras and fillers from Olancho as well as ligero from Estelí, Nicaragua.

Pricing is expected to be between $10-12 per cigar and the company says it will begin shipping the cigars in mid-July.

“Strong Leaf warns of a dangerous, robust force, with a friendly flavor,” said Yesser Ferrera, the company’s blender.

Ferrera makes cigars at its Ferrera Cigars S. de R.L. de C.V. factory in Honduras.

The 2023 PCA Convention & Trade Show takes place July 8-11 in Las Vegas.
