El Septimo is adding more than 30 new cigar accessories to its catalog in the coming months, most of which follow the same general theme.
A total of 21 of those items are split evenly: seven torch lighters, seven cutters and seven ashtrays. The items are branded to match one of six El Septimo cigars:
- Emperor Alexander
- Emperor Augustus
- Emperor Vartan
- Emperor Napoleon
- Emperor Yao
- Sacred Arts Raphael
- Sacred Arts van Gogh
There are seven items, but only six of them correspond to an existing cigar. That’s because the company has added the Emperor Vartan to the Emperor Collection, a series based on historical figures. That is a reference to Vardan Mamikonian, an Armenian military leader who died at the Battle of Avarayr, a 451 battle believed to be one of the first wars fought to defend Christianity.
Each triple flame lighter has an MSRP of $250, the matching cutter will retail for $200 and a matching ashtray will retail for $450.
In addition, the company is introducing three different cigar cases that will come with a cross body strap. The cases have an MSRP of $450.
All of these items are limited to 500 units and will begin shipping on Sept. 1.
“During the last two years that we entered US market, we have introduced 20 new lines of cigars and 45 new lines of cigar accessories,” said Zaya Younan, owner of El Septimo, in a press release. “We are excited about the growth ahead of us and now we know exactly what we can do good for this industry. In the end, consumers will benefit from our creativity and hard work.”
El Septimo will debut the new accessories at the 2023 PCA Conention & Trade Show, which takes place July 8-11 in Las Vegas.
