E.P. Carrillo’s new Perez-Carrillo Endure line, the first from the company to use a Cameroon wrapper, has found its way to at least one U.S. retailer, as the cigars were available during a launch party for E.P. Carrillo’s new 15th Anniversary limited edition hosted by 8 to 8 Cigars in Villa Park, Ill, on Nov. 15.

E.P. Carrillo has not issued a formal press release for the cigar, with Lissette Perez-Carrillo telling halfwheel earlier this week that one would be out soon. However, the cigars were on display at the 2024 Intertabac trade fair, held in Dortmund, Germany in mid-September.

Full details of the blend have not yet been announced or reported, but multiple sources have reported that it uses a Cameroon wrapper grown by the Meerapfel family. In its coverage of the 2024 InterTabac trade fair, a German trade show, Cigar Journal noted that it will be offered in two box-pressed sizes, a 5 x 52 robusto and a 6 x 52 toro. According to the image, the toro is priced at $199.95 for a box of 10 cigars.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury, the G-League's Valley Suns, and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
