Drunk Chicken Cigars has added a new size to its Fan Hen line as part of a new Drunk Chicken FreshPak sampler released during the 2024 PCA Convention & Trade Show.

The Fat Hen Robusto is a new 5 1/2 x 50 robusto vitola for the line. The new size will only be sold as part of a five-pack sampler priced at $50 that includes one of each of Drunk Chicken’s original lines that the company debuted with when it launched in 2019. As is the case with the rest of the line, it is made with a Nicaraguan habano wrapper covering an Ecuadorian binder and filler tobaccos grown in the Dominican Republic and Ecuador. Drunk Chicken’s cigars are made in the U.S. at an undisclosed factory.

The sampler includes:

  • DCO Original Robusto (5 1/2 x 50)
  • Mother Clucker Robusto (5 1/2 x 50)
  • Fat Hen Robusto (5 1/2 x 50)
  • Living the Dream Robusto (5 1/2 x 50)
  • Sweet Dreams Robusto (5 1/2 x 50)

Desiree Sylver, owner of Drunk Chicken Cigars, told halfwheel that the FreshPak sampler is ready to begin shipping to retailers.

I have worn many hats in my life up to this point: I started out as a photojournalist for the Dallas Morning News and the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, then transitioned to photographing weddings—both internationally and in the U.S.—for more than a decade. After realizing that there was a need for a cigar website containing better photographs and more in-depth information about each release, I founded my first cigar blog, SmokingStogie, in 2008. SmokingStogie quickly became one of the more influential cigar blogs on the internet, known for reviewing preproduction, prerelease, rare, extremely hard-to-find and expensive cigars, and it was one of the predecessors to halfwheel, which I co-founded.
