Last month, Oettinger Davidoff AG announced the first new product for Cusano since it acquired the brand in 2009, the Dominican Connecticut. With that announcement came news that there would also be a new Cusano Dominican Maduro.

That new cigar is the Cusano Dominican Maduro, a blend of Mexican San Andrés negro wrapper, Ecuadorian Connecticut binder and Dominican fillers.

It will ship on April 4, alongside the Dominican Connecticut, in four sizes: Robusto (5 x 50), Churchill (7 x 48), Toro (6 x 50) and Gordo (6 x 60).

“With the release of this new Cusano Dominican Maduro range, we aim to delight aficionados looking for a fine maduro cigar at great value,” said Charles Awad, svp of global marketing & innovation for Oettinger Davidoff AG.

The company has also confirmed that the Dominican Connecticut and Maduro will replace the Cusano 18 Series.
