Following up on January’s Protocol John Doe Series, Cubariqueño Cigar Co. has announced the upcoming release of the Protocol Jane Doe Series.
Like its predecessor, and in keeping with the theme behind its name, no specifics about the blend are being disclosed, though the company is confirming that it measures 6 x 52 and was produced at La Zona Cigar Factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. The cigar will makes its debut on June 1 during the company’s fourth anniversary celebration at the Holiday Inn in Clinton, N.J.
The cigars come packed in 10-count paper wrapped bundles priced at $99. The quantity of cigars produced has also not been disclosed, but a press release from the company indicated that if any bundles remain after the event, they will be made available to people unable to attend the party.
Cubariqueño Cigar Co. is the creation of Juan Cancel and Bill Ives, both of whom come from a law enforcement background and who have brought that to the names of their cigars.
