There is a new size of Crowned Heads’ Juárez blend and it will only be sold in a new sampler from the company.

The Juárez Ferdinand is a new 4 x 58 parejo vitola for the line. Like the rest of the Juárez line, it is made at the TacaNicsa factory using a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. Notably, the Ferdinand size will only be sold in the company’s new Juárez Bulls on Parade Fresh Pack, a five-count sampler that contains the new Ferdinand size and the four existing regular production vitolas.

  • Juárez Willy Lee (6 x 54)
  • Juárez Chihuahua (5 1/2 x 48)
  • Juárez Jack Brown (5 x 56)
  • Juárez OBS (4 3/4 x 52)
  • Juárez Ferdinand (4 x 58)

The Bulls on Parade Fresh Pack has an MSRP of $29.95 per pack and will begin shipping in August. Each pack comes humidified and is resealable.

Júarez, the line, is inspired by Jonny Cash’s performance of “Cocaine Blues.” The other vitolas’ names are all references to parts of the song and the story it tells The Ferdinand size comes with a red ribbon around the foot that is designed to mimic the red cape of a bullfighting matador.
