Ceniza Fina Cigars is adding a fourth vitola to its debut line and increasing prices.

The new cigar is the Ceniza Fina Corojo Box Pressed Robusto Gordo, a 5 1/2 x 56 robusto gordo. Like the rest of the line, it uses an Ecuadorian corojo wrapper over a Mexican binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic—criollo 98, HVA, piloto cubano—and Jalapa, Nicaragua. Production is handled by TABACALERA LA iSLA in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic.

It is priced at $12.50 and went on sale last week.

In addition, the other three vitolas for the line have increased by 50 cents each. In a press release, Ceniza Fina cited increased manufacturing costs as the reason for the change. The new pricing is:

  • Ceniza Fina Corojo Corona Gorda (6 x 46) — $10
  • Ceniza Fina Corojo Robusto (5 x 50) — $10.50
  • Ceniza Fina Corojo Toro (6 x 50) — $11
  • Ceniza Fina Corojo Box Pressed Robusto Gordo (5 1/2 x 56) — $12.50

Ceniza Fina, Spanish for fine ash, was launched earlier this year by Sam and Rosie Lopez, who also own Fine Ash Cigars, a retail store in Glendale, Ariz. The brand is distributed by Pospiech Distribution.
