Habanos S.A’s Réplica de Humidor Antiguo series debuted in 2006, releasing a large-format cigar in a humidor designed to replicate a vintage one. Announced in 2017, the El Rey del Mundo Império didn’t debut until April 2019, and it’s the most recent to be released, despite four more having been announced since.

Over the history of the La Gloria Cubana brand, the Glorias name has been used for at least three different cigars. In this case, it was for an Edición Regional released for Germany in late 2016.

The latest version, an exclusive for La Casa del Habano stores, is a bit thicker than its predecessor.

The cigar measures 7 9/16 (192mm) x 40, a vitola known as a Laguito Especial, which happens to be the same size as the legendary Trinidad Fundadores.
