Crowned Heads

For the 11th release of Las Calaveras, Crowned Heads created a blend made entirely of Nicaraguan tobacco. Jon Huber, co-founder of Crowned Heads, says it reminds him of the 2015 release.

Named for a 19th-century pharmacy and hotel in Nashville, Blood Medicine became available outside of Crowned Heads retail events this year. It also gets a new blend and new size for 2024.

The second Mil Días Maduro.

La Vereda marks the first time Crowned Heads has priced a cigar at $20+.

It took 1,000 days for the cigar to come to fruition, a bit more for this redux to do the same.

The Las Calaveras limited edition returns for its 10th year with a blend that brings back the broadleaf.

The second limited edition in Crowned Heads Four Kicks Capa Especial line is the longest and thinnest vitola so far, a 7 1/2 x 38 lancero that is limited to 2,500 boxes of 12 cigars.

The Azul y Oro is named after the favorite whisky of Gustavo Cura, one of the most important people in Nicaragua’s cigar industry, though a name few consumers have heard of.

After debuting as a limited edition in 2021, the Le Pâtissier line is back as a regular production offering with four new vitolas.

The 2022 incarnation of Crowned Head’s popular Las Calaveras Edición Limitada is the first blend in the series to be made with all Nicaraguan tobacco, including a Corojo 99 wrapper.

The Four Kicks Capa Especial Corona Gorda finished #11 on halfwheel’s Top 25 for 2020. It’s been nearly two years since the cigar first shipped to stores, so it’s time to revisit it.
