Centenario, a new line that Altadis U.S.A. describes as “a modern expression” of its Casa de García brand, is set to begin arriving in stores this month.
The Casa de García Centenario is being released in two blends, both of which are built around Nicaraguan tobaccos for the binder and filler. The Casa de García Centenario Red Label is the stronger of the two blends, using an Ecuadorian habano wrapper, while the Casa de García Centenario White Label is milder and uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper.
Both lines are being released in four sizes, each coming in bundles of 25 cigars:
- Casa de García Centenario Robusto (5 x 50) — $2.77 (Bundle of 25, $69.25)
- Casa de García Centenario Toro (6 x 50) — $2.88 (Bundle of 25, $72)
- Casa de García Centenario Belicoso (6 1/4 x 52) — $2.99 (Bundle of 25, $74.75)
- Casa de García Centenario Magnum (6 x 60) — $3.20 (Bundle of 25, $80)
The company said that the cigars are made in Nicaragua in collaboration with the Plasencia family, though did not confirm which specific factory is producing them.
Altadis U.S.A. said that the Casa de García Centenario line will be available as of Nov. 15.
