Caldwell’s Funfetti Arrives at JR Cigar
First there was Yellow Cake, now there’s Funfetti.
Last week, JR Cigar took delivery of the Caldwell Funfetti, a 5 x 50 robusto with a sumatra wrapper and Nicaraguan binder and fillers. It’s not simply a larger version of Yellow Cake, the 4 x 44 event exclusive, the company released last year. That cigar used a Dominican corojo wrapper.
“For those of you guys that love yellowcake,” said Robert Caldwell in a statement provided by JR Cigar. “This was crafted to be a more balanced larger version. We released with JR so everyone could get their hands on them. They are very limited quantities.
Caldwell told halfwheel the company made 2,000 packs of 10 cigars.
JR has set pricing at $49.95 per bundle of 10.
