When Caldwell Cigar Co. announced the Long Live the Queen line last year, there were four regular production sizes and one limited edition size. Now, that one limited edition size will be the fifth regular production vitola.

It’s the Ace of Hearts, a 6 x 52 toro. Unlike the other four sizes—which are all round—Ace of Hearts is box-pressed. Blend-wise, the cigars use a Cameroon wrapper over a Sumatran binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.

Originally, Caldwell Cigar Co. made 1,200 boxes of Ace of Hearts—800 were sold in the U.S. and 400 went to stores overseas—but it began shipping more boxes this week.

The line is rolled at the Ventura family’s El Maestro factory located in the Dominican Republic. Long Live the Queen was announced in mid-2022 but did not begin shipping until earlier this year.
