BriarWorks Gets Exclusive Four Kicks 444

There’s a new size of Four Kicks, a small vitola that will be exclusive to a retailer in Tennessee.

The new Four Kicks 444 is a 4 x 44 petit corona. It’s a vitola that is a personal favorite of Pete Prevost, president of BriarWorks, a retailer in Columbia, Tenn. Four years ago, Prevost asked Crowned Heads about making the size, now that request is almost ready to go on sale.

“Four Kicks 444 for BriarWorks is literally something I’ve had on
my docket since 2019,” said Jon Huber, co-founder of Crowned Heads, in a press release. “When Pete (Prevost) approached me with the idea, I immediately fell in love with the concept as l’m a big fan of smaller format cigars; unfortunately, other larger projects kept pushing it to the back burner. I’m just excited that we’re finally able to bring Pete’s idea to fruition and I can’t wait for everyone to enjoy it.”

It will be priced at $7.95 per cigar and comes in bundles of 20. It uses the original Four Kicks Blend, which debuted in 2011: an Ecuadorian habano wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers. The blend is produced at Ernesto Perez-Carrillo Jr.’s Casa Carrillo factory in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic.

Four Kicks 444 is slated to go on sale in mid-April; it is expected to be an ongoing exclusive for the store.

“That specific 4″ × 44 size has been my personal favorite cigar vitola, and we’ve supported the Crowned Heads Four Kicks brand since the start,” said Prevost. “I just felt that combining the two was perfectly serendipitous, and when I smoked the first pre-release samples, I knew we had landed on something special.”
