There are two new cigars that will soon be available as regular production items from Black Works Studio.

Oveja Negra Brands—the company behind Black Label Trading Co. and Black Works Studio—has announced that it is adding the Killer Bee Robusto (5 x 50, $10.50) and The Hornet Corona Larga (6 x 46, $10.50) to its regular production offerings. Killer Bee uses an Ecuadorian maduro wrapper with Connecticut shade accents over a Nicaraguan binder and fillers from Nicaragua. The Hornet also uses an Ecuadorian maduro wrapper, though with candela accents, over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers.

Both cigars are offered in boxes of 20 and are expected to begin shipping following the 2023 PCA Convention & Trade Show, which takes place July 8-11 in Las Vegas.

“The Killer Bee and The Hornet have garnered immense popularity and praise among cigar enthusiasts,” said James Brown, creator of Black Label Trading Co./Black Works Studio, in a press release. “Renowned for their exceptional craftsmanship and bold flavors, these two lines have become cornerstones of the BLK WKS core collection. We are confident that these new sizes will further captivate the palates of those who appreciate the distinct character and complexity that our cigars offer.”
