Black Label Trading Co. has announced that it will add 5 x 50 robusto vitolas—it calls the size robusto real—to four of its regular production lines.

The new cigars are:

  • Black Label Trading Co. Last Rites Robusto Real (5 x 50) — $11.50 (Box of 20, $230)
  • Black Label Trading Co. Lawless Robusto Real (5 x 50) — $10.50 (Box of 20, $210)
  • Black Label Trading Co. Royalty Robusto Real (5 x 50) — $10.50 (Box of 20, $210)
  • Black Label Trading Co. Salvation Robusto Real (5 x 50) — $10.50 (Box of 20, $210)

Each of the new cigars is a regular production item. Black Label Trading Co. says it expects to begin shipping the quartet of new robustos following the 2023 PCA Convention & Trade Show, which takes place July 8-11 in Las Vegas.

“I’m delighted to introduce these new vitolas to the original BLTC Core Line,” said James Brown, founder of Black Label Trading Co., in a press release “As a brand committed to continuous evolution and innovation, we strive to bring fresh experiences to our customers. Black Label is celebrating its 10-year anniversary and we have exciting plans for the years to come.”

Like the rest of the Black Label portfolio, these cigars are made at Fábrica Oveja Negra, the company’s factory in Nicaragua. The blends for each of the liens are as follows:

  • Last Rites uses an Ecuadorian maduro wrapper over a binder from Honduras and Honduran and Nicaraguan fillers.
  • Lawless uses an Ecuadorian habano rosado wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and fillers from Nicaragua.
  • Royalty uses an Ecuadorian corojo wrapper over a Honduran binder and fillers from Nicaragua.
  • Salvation uses an Ecuadorian Sun Grown wrapper over a Honduran binder and fillers from Nicaragua.

According to the Oveja Negra website, each of these robustos will become the fourth regular production size for the lines.
