The new vitola is the fifth addition to Ferio Tego’s regular production Summa line.

The new blend is made with a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper that covers a Cameroon binder and filler tobaccos sourced from the Dominican Republic and the Condega, Estelí and Jalapa growing regions of Nicaragua.

The first 3,000 boxes of the new release—750 boxes of each vitola—are being shipped to Ashton’s top 300 accounts, and those stores will have exclusive access to the line until 2025.

The cigar measures 7 9/16 (192mm) x 40, a vitola known as a Laguito Especial, which happens to be the same size as the legendary Trinidad Fundadores.
