Next week, nearly a half dozen stores around the country will receive the Aladino Cameroon Reserva, a new cigar made with Cameroon-seed tobacco grown in Honduras.

JRE Tobacco Co. will begin shipping the Aladino Cameroon Reserva to the eight retailers that have branded Aladino lounges. It says that other stores will begin receiving the cigars in the first half of July.

As for the cigar, it’s offered in a single 6 x 52 toro size and is believed to be the first cigar to ever be made entirely of Cameroon-seed tobacco grown in Honduras.

Each cigar has an MSRP of $22 and comes in boxes of 12. JRE says that each of the 125 stores that will get the cigar will receive between 2-10 boxes. The Aladino Cameroon Reserva will also be available in Hong Kong, Malaysia and the United Kingdom.

The eight Aladino Lounges that will be the first to receive the cigar are:

  • Final Third (Ingalls, Ind.)
  • Lafontaine’s Tobacco & Wine Shop (Huntington, W.Va.)
  • Michael’s Tobacco (Euless, Texas)
  • Nelson Loguasto Cigar Co. (Greensburg, Pa.)
  • The Cigar Vault East (Austin, Texas)
  • Tobacco Exchange — Edmond (Edmond, Okla.)
  • Tobacco Exchange — Moore (Moore, Okla.)
  • Tobacco Exchange — Oklahoma City (Okla.)

Update — JRE Tobacco Co. has clarified that there are eight, not six (or seven), Aladino lounges.
