Clint Aaron of 262 Cigars has confirmed that the Paradigm 4SIXTY is being discontinued in the near future. Aaron told halfwheel that there is approximately 90 boxes remaining, and when they are gone, they are gone.

“We currently have 6 sizes in that blend, and the 4SIXTY is not as popular with our customers as it once was,” Aaron said, adding that “with the addition of the Paradigm Corona coming Spring of 2014, we decided to cut back on one of our less popular sizes. Plus everybody is moving toward Lanceros, right? That’s my goal anyway.”

The Paradigm line is made in Honduras using a Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper, Honduran binder and filler from Nicaragua and Colombia. It debuted in 2009 in three vitolas, a Torpedo, a Robusto and a box-pressed Toro, and has since added a 6 x 60 vitola, a 7 x 38 Lancero, and the now discontinued 4 x 60 vitola called the 4SIXTY.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury, the G-League's Valley Suns, and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
