You know it as the La Flor Dominicana Mysterio, but as far as formality and legality are concerned, it will be forever known as The Cigar Formerly Known As “M”.

Due to a lawsuit filed by Connecticut Valley Tobacconist, La Flor Dominicana was forced to stop selling its Mysterio and Mysterioso cigars because of trademark concerns. Later this month, the 7 x 54 perfectos will once again be shipping to retailers, now known as La Flor Dominicana The Cigar Formerly Known As (TCFKA M). Both the Dominican habano (Natural) and Maduro versions will be offered in familiar five-count boxes priced at $83.50 or $16.70 per cigar.

Jon Carney, vp of sales for LFD, told halfwheel that the blend is staying the same as the original. When asked about the lawsuit, Carney said he was unable to comment on its status.
