Just a month before its scheduled national debut, Fable Cigars has announced that it will be distributed by Pospiech Inc.
Sean Kremenetski, one of the partners behind Fable Cigars, had originally stated the cigars would be sold directly through the company, but the company has now decided to partner with Pospiech Inc., the same company that distributes both Chogüí and Powstanie in the U.S.
In addition, the company will increase the price of its initial release, Fourth Prime, by 50 cents per cigar.
- Fable Fourth Prime Doc (4 1/2 x 52) — $8.50 (Boxes of 56, $476)
- Fable Fourth Prime Mersenne (5 1/4 x 56) — $9.50 (Boxes of 56, $532)
- Fable Fourth Prime Mi Mi (5 3/4 x 46) — $9 (Boxes of 56, $504)
- Fable Fourth Prime Sapta (6 1/4 x 54) — $10 (Boxes of 56, $560)
While the company originally intended on selling the cigars at just 10 retailers in April, it will actually be available through 14 stores.
“We’re very excited to be working with Sean and Mitul and we look forward to successfully building their brand with them,” said Mike Szczepankiewicz of Pospiech. Szczepankiewicz and his brother also own the Florida-based retailer, Cigar Hustler.
Like Powstanie, Fourth Prime is made at Fabrica de Tabacos NicaSueño S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua. It uses a Pennsylvania broadleaf wrapper, Ecuadorian habano ligero binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.
Fable soft launched Fourth Prime earlier this year by selling four-packs of the cigar through its online store and through the retail stores owned by Mitul Shah, the other partner in the business.
