Famous Smoke Shop in Easton, Pa. is getting its a store exclusive size in Drew Estate’s Kentucky Fire Cured line, as the 6 x 46 Hog’s Tooth will debut on Thursday, Oct. 29 as part of an in-store launch event.
Like the other sizes in the Kentucky Fire Cured line, the Hog’s Tooth, a long corona, will come packed in 10-count soft packs, with a single stick MSRP of $6.80 per cigar and $68.00 per pack, though the store currently has them listed on its website for $54.99 per pack.
In a press release, Famous Smoke Shop Owner Arthur Zaretsky stated that “Drew Estate has been a long-time partner of Famous Smoke Shop for many years and, over that time period, we’ve worked on numerous projects together. The Hog’s Tooth is our newest and one of our most exciting. The Kentucky Fire Cured cigars sell extremely well for us and we look forward to seeing how the new size fits into the already stellar lineup.”
The Kentucky Fire Cured blend centers around Kentucky seed tobacco that is grown and fire cured in Hopkinsville, Ky., along with Nicaraguan and Brazilian fillers and a Mexican San Andrés wrapper.
The launch event includes a barbecue dinner, bourbon tasting, and a complimentary Hog’s Tooth as part of the ticket package, which costs $29.99 per person.
It’s the latest in a small but growing list of exclusive sizes in the Kentucky Fire Cured line; in October, the distributor Alliance Cigar received the Kentucky Fire Cured Fightn’ 69th, which measures 5 1/2 x 52. Earlier that month, Drew Estate released the Kentucky Fire Cured Yard Bird, a 5 x 50 torpedo that is exclusive to the company’s Barn Smoker event.
