J. Fuego showed off his latest creation Thursday via Twitter, the 777 Zero Minutos.
The small format cigar measures 4 1/2 x 38 and comes in five pack paperboard box. While similar in size to the 5 x 44 J. Fuego Originals, Fuego said that the projects are completely different. “People had been asking for a small format in the 777 line, but I didn’t want to just make the same format so I decided to make a regular cigar for these lines – made with a mold, made with a band.”
Two blends in the 777 line will initially get the Minutos format – the 777 Zero and the 777 Corojo. Fuego added that the Connecticut-wrapped 777 Zero has “a lot of punch for a little one,” while the Corojo is “really rich.” He says he hasn’t decided if the 777 Maduro will be made in the Minutos format.
The 777 Zero and Corojo Minutos will officially debut at the upcoming IPCPR Trade Show in early August, and while pricing has not been confirmed, Fuego says the MSRP will be no more than $15. Fuego will be showing several new cigars at the show, including the Origen Maduro Originals and the Edición de Familia.
