Davidoff’s Zino Nicaragua line will gain two new sizes next month.

On Sept. 15, stores will begin to receive the new Zino Nicaragua Gordo (6 x 60) and Mini Cigarillos (3 1/8 x 19), though the Mini Cigarillos will not be sold in U.S. stores. In the U.S., the Gordo size will have an MSRP of $7.50 per cigar. The Zino Nicaragua line, which Davidoff overhauled last year, uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over a Nicaraguan seco binder and two fillers from the Dominican Republic, two from Honduras and one filler from Ometepe, Nicaragua. Zino Nicaragua is made at Diadema Cigars de Honduras S.A., best known as the Camacho factory.

Interestingly, the Zino Nicaragua Mini Cigarillos will use a different blend: a Mexican wrapper over a Mexican binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.

“Zino Davidoff was a dynamic man full of lust for life,” said says Edward Simon, chief marketing officer at Oettinger Davidoff AG, in a press release. “We want our Zino Mini Cigarillos to reflect his desire and spirit to live in the moment – always striving for an A to Z of flavours and experiences. It fills me with pride to say that with the recent blend update, our new creations now capture and honour this spirit and sense of discovery adequately.”
