The list of XIKAR’s new products slated for the IPCPR Convention & Trade Show continues to grow, as recently images of a new lighter called the Xidris have begun showing up on social media.

Recently, Anthony D’Eri, XIKAR’s business development manager for the northeastern U.S., Tweeted this picture of the lighter in five color options:

On Monday night, Jon Fia, who represents XIKAR in Hawaii, posted this image of the new lighter:

XIKAR isn’t disclosing any information about the Xidris, however, with a representative confirming only that it will be launched at the IPCPR trade show. It appears that the Xidris is a single action, side-squeeze lighter with a single jet flame, something confirmed by a XIKAR employee in our comments section earlier.

From another Tweet by D’Eri, is appears XIKAR has more new products in store for the trade show:

XIKAR has already unveiled its new XO cutter, a double guillotine style in a round format, as well as that Boveda will be manufacturing a line of branded humidification packets.

In addition, the company is working with RoMa Craft Tobac on a new branded accessory set called the Monolith, which includes what appears to be the Xidris lighter along with RoMa Craft Tabac-branded versions of the XIKAR Ash Can, Xi bottle opener and MTX cigar scissors, all packaged in XIKAR’s new Cigar Locker, though minus the Bluetooth speaker that the regular production version will have.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
