The first exclusive product for retailers that are part of the Quality Importers Trading Co.’s new Qualified Program will be a special edition XIKAR cutter.

At next week’s TPE 2023 trade show in Las Vegas, Quality Importers—the parent company of XIKAR—will show off the XIKAR Xi1 Limited-Edition Flying Tiger, a limited edition colorway of the popular XIKAR Xi1. The company said it was inspired by the Flying Tigers, a group of American volunteer airmen who fought alongside the Republic of China against the Japanese, a precursor to America’s formal involvement in World War II. The P-40 Warhawks flown by the squadron were painted with a shark’s mouth on the nose of the aircraft.

Functionally, the cutter is the same as other Xi1 cutters. It features the trademarked teardrop shape with two blades that extend out from the body with handles attached. The user closes the handles to cut a cigar, which locks the blades back into place.

The XIKAR Xi1 Limited-Edition Flying Tiger has an MSRP of $84.99 and will be limited to 200 pieces. Quality Importers says it is ready to begin shipping the cutter.

TPE 2023 takes place Feb. 22-24.
