You’ll soon be able to get an assortment of XIKAR accessories bearing RoMa Craft Tobac logos, as the two companies have announced a new licensing agreement.

The new agreement builds on a previous collaboration between the two companies, the RoMa Craft Monolith, which included a RoMa Craft Tobac-branded XIKAR Ash Can, Xi bottle opener, MTX cigar scissors and a Xidris lighter. Many of those items return, but with a number of new designs available.

There are three versions of the Xi1 cutter; the Intemperance and Neanderthal are both $84.99, while the Weasel is $74.99.

The Xidris lighter gets four versions: Intemperance, Neanderthal, Weasel and RoMa Craft Tobac, each priced at $79.99.

New to the collection is a 10-count travel humidor with the RoMa Craft Tobac word mark on the lid, priced at $39.99.

Several items are similar to ones from the Monolith collection: the MTX cigar scissors are available in black ($64.99),  as is the Xi bottle opener ($14.99). The mini Ash Can ($19.99) is back as well, but in black and bearing the phrase “Damn It Feels Good To Be a Weasel.” The version in the Monolith was silver and featured the CroMagnon skull logo.

“We are very excited to continue and expand our association with RoMa Craft executives Skip Martin and Mike Rosales, and their brands,” said Kurt Van Keppel, president of XIKAR, via a press release. “They have brought exceptional products to the cigar market, and we are confident that these branded accessories will enhance their tenacious connection with consumers.”

Martin noted that both companies are committed to quality and an exceptional customer experience, which made the partnership a fit for both the companies and their customers.

According to a XIKAR representative, the line is expected to begin shipping in the fall, yet a specific shipping date has not yet been announced. At least one online retailer is taking pre-orders.

Update: Shortly after this story was published, a XIKAR spokesperson replied to a halfwheel inquiry about the shipping date.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
