Quality Importers Trading Co., the parent company of XIKAR, announced that it has begun shipping the new XIKAR Revolution cigar cutter in its two standard color options: black and silver. The Revolution is a large cutter that is designed to cut cigars up to 70 ring gauge.

The Revolution has spring-loaded blades which you open by rotating a wheel located at the top of the cutter in a clockwise direction. That rotation opens the blade and if you were to let go of the wheel, the blades will close, but not enough to cut a cigar. To cut the cigar, you rotate the wheel in a counter-clockwise direction, which will see the blades cut through the cigar.

Quality Importers is shipping the two standard versions of the cutter—black with stainless steel blades and silver with black stainless steel blades—both of which have an MSRP of $159.99.

There’s a third version of the cutter that is not yet shipping, a 22-karat rose gold version with black blades. That version has an MSRP of $249.99 and is limited to 250 numbered pieces. Michael Giannini, chief of customer engagement at Quality Importers, told halfwheel that the company is still finalizing the packaging for the limited edition version.
