XIKAR has announced a new accessory to its lineup, and while it doesn’t cut, light, or store your cigars, it’s promising to help enhance your smoking experience.

The company has released a trio of candles designed for cigar smoking spaces, with the aromas helping to freshen up the air where stale smoke might reside.

The XIKAR candles come in three scent options: Fresh Shave, described as “fresh, simply, and clean;” Black Tie, a robust mahogany and teak aroma; and Spanish Cedar, with a full grain leather leading tones of musk and wood. The company picked the trio for being both fresh and masculine, while providing cover for “the vice we all love.”

XIKAR says that each option will help you enjoy “an enhanced level of relaxation during your smoke” while the fragrance helps calm the senses and boosts mood.

Each of the paraffin-free candles comes in a 14oz format that offers up to 60 hours of burn time, which is kept even by a triple wick. A natural soy wax base and pure essential oils are used in the creation of the candle, while a brushed silver lid is included for times when the candle is not in use.

Each candle has a suggested retail price of $19.99 and will be available via the company’s website as well as through XIKAR retailers.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury, the G-League's Valley Suns, and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
