Worcester, Mass. has banned flavored tobacco at retailers that are not adults-only, which means that convenience stores and similar establishments will not be able to sell flavored cigars going forward.

That being said, cigar shops, vapor stores and other tobacco stores will be able to continue to sell flavored tobaccos.

The decision to restrict flavored tobacco sales is not new, the city has been debating the measure for years.

Worcester is located less than 40 miles west of Boston and has a population of over 180,000 residents.
